Scarecrow Competition

Children of all ages – build a scarecrow, display it in our lovely Walled Garden and win a prize! You have until 18^th October to enter the competition. You will then need to bring your Scarecrow to the garden by 11.00am on Saturday 25^th October, so that it can be displayed in the garden alongside other entries.

Entries will be judged in three age groups: Under 10; 10 – 16; & Over 16years – One prize for each group. Entries will be judged on the day by a panel from the Walled Garden. Judging will take place between 1pm and 2pm on the day.

Visitors can vote for their favourite designs as well!

 The Scarecrows will then be left in the garden for a further 10 days, giving visitors to the garden the opportunity to vote for their favourite Scarecrow; based on Best Design, Most Creative Costume and Most Lifelike Scarecrow.

All Scarecrows will be photographed and displayed in a gallery on our website.

Rules
1. To participate, you must submit your completed entry form via email by 18th October, and have your Scarecrow on display by 11.00am on Saturday 25th October.
2. Entrants are responsible for the collection (if required) of their scarecrows by Saturday 8th November.
